Flu continues, and I have read some thrillers and detective stories. This was special; critical about the capitalist system which makes people redundant quite shamelessly. 4.1. I heard the news that Donald E. Westlake has died at the age of 75.

Pre-Christmas Eve eve chez a neighbour. To celebrate R. lighted a huge Cuban cigar. I went home, he stayed because the smoke took some time.
